Mobile Crane Operator Courses
AmeriCrane VoTech is proud to announce that it will be partnering with Central Tech based out of Drumright, OK., at their Classroom facility in Cleveland, OK. (just West of Tulsa, OK.) for the Mobile Crane Operator Testing preparation curriculum, and administering the CIC Practical Exams.
- Three 8-hour Days preparing for the Crane Institute Certification written tests. (Mon-Wed)
- One Day for proctored, written testing online then practice on the specific Mobile Crane type. (Thurs)
Types offered: Below 21 Ton Capacity, 21-75 Ton Capacity, Over 75 Ton Capacity - One Day for Practical Exams on the type Crane testing for. (Friday)
*Maximum of (10) Students per Class.
*Classes will be taught by Kenny Emigh, a CIC Certified Classroom Instructor, per CIC protocols, and requirements.
*Candidates will need to provide for the Written testing, a Laptop with Camera, and a smartphone that will need to have Google Meet App for Proctors to observe students during testing.
*Written/online, proctored exams are administered by CIC to registered Candidates.
*Practical Tests will be conducted by Kenny Emigh, a certified CIC Practical Examiner, and a CIC qualified Assistant Examiner on CIC qualified AMERICRANE VOTECH equipment per CIC protocols, and requirements.

Mobile Crane Operator

Course Includes:
CIA Operator Qualification (per OSHA 1910-180)
This excellent Safety and Certification program covers all the topics required by OSHA in 1926.1427(b)(1)&(2)&(j)(1)(D). The hands-on portion of the training covers the fundamentals of crane operation with emphasis on: How to Control the Load, Shift Inspection, Set-Up, Etc.
This Class includes The Practical Exam on a modern Crane that meets Crane Institute Certifications to meet pre-registered written exam equipment qualifications.
ANSI Accredited Operator Certification included at no additional cost with all mobile crane operator courses.

Operator Qualification Requirements: Per OSHA 1910.180
- Complete a Crane Institute of America Mobile Crane Operator training program.
- Pass written exams.
- Document at least 3 years of experience as the designated operator of mobile cranes, 1 year for boom trucks. (A Operator-In-Training qualification will be issued to applicants with less experience).
- Meet ASME B30.5 physical qualifications.
